Addressing the needs to further enhance the production yield and manufacturing turnover, Farsoon is excited to introduce FS721M-8-CAMS – Continuous Additive Manufacturing Solution Concept Integration with the eight 500W or 1000W laser FS721M platform; opening up many new potentials for true AM series production with increased automation workflow.
Series Production Ready
Integrating Farsoon’s innovative CAMS concept, the FS721M-8-CAMS is equipped with the internal conveyor system and unique exchangeable cartridge strategy. It allows for quick transfer of the completed build cartridge to the inert breakout station, load the 2nd build cartridge to the system and start the production job; while the breakout process is conducted in parallel. This highly efficient exchangeable cartridge strategy enables maximized machine “Laser-on” time, true continuous production capability, intensive manufacturing turnovers with minimal machine downtime between the build jobs.
Equipped with an expanded rectangular build cylinder of 720 x 420 x 390 mm, highly efficient eight 500W or 1000W fiber lasers, the FS721M-8-CAMS can boost productivity up to 300cm3/h and lower production cost per part; it is the ultimate series manufacturing tool for large-format industrial applications favors one axis; including automotive, molds & tooling fields and many other manufacturing industries.
High Quality Solution
The FS721M-8-CAMS features many features and capabilities for enhanced part quality and repeatability; including high-performance digital optics, customized multi-laser scanning strategies, and process parameters ensuring higher productivity and uniformed performance in multi-laser overlapping zones. We also offer the advanced multi-laser calibration tool for overlap calibration.
The updated chamber features include multi-layer gas flow with wind-wall design for the smooth and clean operation. The new recoater design help improving the powder surface flatness and consistency throughout the build area.
Operational Ease
The advanced closed-loop powder handling system integrates multiple powder processes under a fully enclosed inert environment; including powder recycling, storage, sieving and new powder supply. The integrated permanent filtration module is also offered for reduced operational cost, enhanced operational ease and safety.
Like all Farsoon systems, the FS721M-8-CAMS is powered by Farsoon’s MakeStar® software which offers powerful build process control and real-time monitoring of the build environment including laser power, air flow, temperature, humidity and many others. In addition, the in-chamber cameras are equipped to monitor and record each layer for enhanced build quality.
