High Temperature

The 252P Series offers three configurations capable of achieving chamber temperatures from up to 220°C (HT) to 280°C (ST) to 340°C (UT). Enhanced temperature shielding, laser power and thermal controls enable the 252P Series to process high-performance materials such as PA6, PPS, PAEK, PI, PTFE for direct-use applications.

With the 252P series, Farsoon is able to support a wide range of additive solutions in various industries including scientific research, automotive, medical, and aerospace. Like all other Farsoon systems the 252P series is open platform allowing for unprecedented freedom in manufacturing and material development.

HPD Package Module Cover

Machine: UT252P
Material: PAEK family

The main function of the HPD module is to control speed and torque, enabling vehicle acceleration, deceleration, and automation. The 3D-printed PAEK cover plate maintains excellent and stable performance even under high-temperature, high-frequency testing. It can withstand temperatures up to 175ºC and remains stable for up to 1.5 hours at 200ºC without deformation. In terms of mechanical properties, it meets strength requirements of over 30 MPa and modulus above 1500 MPa.

Water Pump Strainers

Material: ACTIVE Material from FABULOUS
Certification: ACS, for potable water applications

RICOH 3D printing service, FARSOON customer, based in UK, is using ACTIVE material for manufacturing water pump strainers. ACTIVE is a new material specific to the Water industry: it has been certified (ACS certification) for potable water applications and plastic parts in contact with drinkable water, such as water pumps, hydraulic systems, data sensors, and all permanent water-immersed parts.

Adaptor Pipe

Machine: HT252P
Material: PA6
Build Time: 10 hours

In collaboration with BASF and PATAC, this new generation of adaptor pipe prototype is manufactured with high-temperature resistant PA6 material on Farsoon’s HT252P system. Thanks to the design and manufacturing flexibility brought by AM, PATAC engineers are able to achieve functional integration by combining multiple parts into one, to better withstand the high-frequency vibration load and burst pressure under the automotive engine operation.

Approved by Japan Railway Rolling Stock & Machinery Association, this Railway outlet duct application is manufactured with high-temperature resistant PPS material on Farsoon’s ST252P system, featuring excellent flame retardant, electrical insulation, corrosion resistance and size stability.
