The FS1521M features 32 or 16 high-power 500-Watt lasers, working in synchronization to achieve exceptional printing speed and efficiency. This advanced multi-laser system significantly reduces production time, making it ideal for high-volume manufacturing in aerospace, automotive, and energy industries, while maintaining precision and consistency across large metal components.

Large-Format Capacity

Designed for industrial-scale production, the FS1521M offers a massive build volume up to 1530 x 1530 x 1650 mm, enabling the fabrication of large, complex metal parts in a single print. This capability eliminates the need for assembly or welding, reducing lead times and costs, while enhancing structural integrity for high-performance applications. In addition to the extra-large build volume, the FS1521M series also offers smaller sized circular and square build cartridge configurations to meet a broad range of application needs.

Process Control & Efficiency

The FS1521M integrates real-time monitoring, optimized thermal management, and intelligent powder handling, ensuring stable, repeatable results throughout production. The FS1521M-U-32 efficiently produces high-strength toroidal panel mounts for solar arrays using TA15 titanium alloy. Measuring Ø1458 x 52 mm, it prints in 60 hours with a 100μm layer thickness. This lightweight, durable part enhances energy system performance, reducing material waste and costs for renewable energy applications.

Discover FS1521M System

1-Build Station
The build Station is where the sintering process takes place. Once the build packet files are loaded into Farsoon’s BuildStarTM operating software, the build process begins. The build chamber is featured with front and rear access door for ease of operation.
2-Breakout Station
The build cartridge is moved to breakout station via the internal conveyor system. The Breakout Station is fully enclosed and is accessed through glove boxes on 3 sides of the station allows the capability of 6 operators while retaining a clean working environment. The convenient air-gun and vacuum hose access allow for gentle powder removal and detailed cleaning.
3-Part Extraction Station
Once the breakout process is complete, the build cartridge is transported to the part extraction area via the internal conveyor system. For further post-processing, the cartridge can be safely lifted and handled using a crane system, ensuring efficient and secure operation.
4-Filtration System
The FS1521M's integrated permanent filter module features two parallel circulating system and a dual-station filter design that allows for uninterrupted operations for extreme build times.
5-Powder Returning Unit
The powder returning unit is equipped with a high-efficiency negative pressure powder suction system designed for the large-volume collection of metal powder from the breakout station in a fully inerted atmosphere, ensuring a smooth transfer to the sieving process for reuse.
6-Powder Sieving Unit
The powder sieving unit features a vibration screen offering efficient sieving of recycled metal powder from the overflow & recycled powder hoppers to filter the large particles. The metal powder collected in the refreshed powder hopper can be re-used for powder supply.
7-Powder Conveying Unit
The powder conveying unit operates in a fully inerted atmosphere, ensuring a fully enclosed and safe powder transfer process. Designed for high efficiency, it enables long-distance, high-volume powder transport, maintaining material integrity and process stability.
