The large-frame FS621M metal system offers unparalleled production edge for large-scale applications that favors higher Z axis. Taking the feedback from the broad industrial user base from aerospace, oil & gas, and energy sectors , the FS621M system is fully optimized for batch production capabilities with materials such as titanium alloys, aluminum alloys, nickel-based superalloys, stainless steels and maraging steels.

The additive manufactured Inconel combustion chamber measures 780mm (30.7 inches) in height and 550mm (21.7 inches) in diameter. Major challenges include the size of the build, function integration, and detail resolution. The advanced additive manufacturing enabled many new innovations from Deep Blue engineers including consolidated design, light-weight lattice structures, and complex geometries.

Farsoon Technologies in collaboration with aerospace industry partner to produce this single piece combustion chamber with Inconel superalloy 718 for functional validation. The additively manufactured part showcased structural integration, improved design features, accelerated development cycle, and of course a significantly reduced cost.
