Supported by a team of experts in design, material, application, manufacturing and post-processing, the Brain4Industry Centre offers a comprehensive service around additive manufacturing including: product design, topology optimization, mathematical simulations to manufacturing. Along with the professional 3D printing services throughout the entire product iteration, associated trainings are also available in selected technologies. This will allow Brain4Industry Centre to develop its position as technology incubator in the region using additive manufacturing.

“The interest of the private sector in cooperation with scientists from the Institute of Physics is steadily growing, which has already led to a number of interesting results. Industrial cooperation gives a new dimension to the work of our scientists, with our research immediately serving the public interest. I am glad that the Brain4Industry Innovation Centre will significantly develop this line and help Czech companies to become more competitive and will thus support the entire Czech economy.” said Michael Prouza, Director of the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences.

“The scientists of the Czech Academy of Sciences frequently cooperate with the private sector, we have about 400 joint projects and direct contracts between institutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences and Czech companies. I am glad that the imaginary doors of further cooperation are opening with this newly established innovation centre,” says the President of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Eva Zažímalová, emphasizing that this cooperation is mutually beneficial. “For both science and industry, mutual contacts bring new perspectives and inspiration for research and development in the long term. Forward-thinking businesses and scientists across disciplines have long been aware of this.” adds the President.

As a technology partner, Farsoon Europe is proud to contribute in the Brain4Industry project and to demonstrate that 3D printing as an innovative manufacturing method pushing a wider range of end-use applications in the Czech Public.
