What will Farsoon metal 3D printing bring to the rider?
• Stronger, Safer Frames: Integrated structure produced by Metal AM eliminates the weak points found in traditionally welded frames, giving cyclists greater confidence in every ride.
• Lighter, Smarter Design: Topology optimization and complex geometry capabilities free designers from the limits of standard tubing, enabling weight reduction where it matters most—without compromising strength.
• Faster Innovation and customization: Production cycles shrink from weeks to days, accelerating development and opening the door to truly personalized equipment tailored to individual riding styles and preferences.
• Sustainable Manufacturing: Additive manufacturing help reducing material waste and supporting more sustainable production—an important step forward as the industry moves toward low-carbon footprint practices.
The FS273M system Giant has adopted is a proven workhorse for production environments. With a build volume of 275 mm × 275 mm × 355 mm and flexible single or dual laser configurations, it delivers stable, high-quality processing of materials like titanium alloy—backed by closed-loop powder management and long-life filtration for safe, efficient operation.
For higher-volume needs, the FS350M series steps up with a 433 mm × 358 mm × 400 mm build chamber and 4/6 laser options. Combined with bidirectional powder coating, it boosts productivity by up to 38%—ideal for producing premium bicycle components at scale.
Farsoon Technologies continues to drive innovation across industries, offering a full portfolio of metal and polymer additive manufacturing solutions. By expanding into sporting goods and consumer applications, Farsoon helps partners like Giant unlock new possibilities, transform how products are made, and deliver greater value to the people who use them.
From March 17-19, visit the Farsoon at Hall 7.1, booth 7F05 at the TCT Asia 2026 to see the Giant application case study up close—and discover how metal 3D printing is changing the game for high-end cycling equipment.
