January 16th, 2023 – Leading Japanese lifestyle golf brand “Designer” hosts a global launch ceremony of the all-new 3D printed titanium golf club head boosting ultimate performance in the game. The new product will accept limited global pre-order starting January 18th.

The use of Farsoon metal 3D printing allows “Designer” brand the possibility to innovate, design and produce top-of-the-line club heads for players seeking ultimate performance in distance, accuracy, stability with greater forgiveness.

01 Material – With the use of ultra-strong customized titanium alloy material, the “Designer” club head showcases the combination of lightweight and excellent strength compared to conventional stainless steel products. This all-new, Farsoon 3D-printed titanium club head creates a high-speed impact surface with enhanced ductility and strength for the perfect strike.

02 Design – From being cast or forged from a generic design, the metal additive manufacturing technology allows not only faster design and verification iterations, but also leads to better, innovative designs in weight, shapes and many other factors that were previously impossible, like self-supported internal structures in the golf club heads contributing to thinner, stronger, and textured external surfaces.

03 Enhanced Control – A typical club head geometry includes toe, face, sole, crown, heel and hosel. Thanks to Farsoon metal 3D Printing technology, the golf club head can be produced in one piece with improved precision and performance compared to the conventional processes. The integrated structure offers greater resistance to twisting, increased stability, and driving distance for the player.

04 Aerodynamics – The 3D printed “Designer” club heads integrate many aerodynamic features to allow wind to flow faster and smoother over the integrated geometries to reduce drag, increasing head stability and speed. With a unique “Sound window” design crafted with 3D printing, “Designer” club heads also offer a more pleasant sound on impact.

05 Cost Savings – Series manufacturing “Designer” club heads with highly efficient Farsoon dual-laser FS200M metal 3D printing system reduces cost per part by about 70% from design to manufacturing compared to the conventional process. Customized multi-layer thickness parameter is also developed for even higher productivity.

The 3D printed titanium “Designer” club head will be showcased at the PGA Show in Orlando, Florida during January 23-26, 2024. Visit booth #2413 to learn more about the new technology trends in the golf industry!
